I have been sleeping like a pig for the past 2 days. I would come back from school, try to finish my homework and by the time I am done, it is 6pm. A nap sounds extremely tempting. I would end up sleeping for 2 hours till dinner time. After dinner, somehow, I felt that I was not fully rested and continue sleeping until the next morning. I would say an average of 12hours a day for the past 2 days.
I am sure my Spanish is not that bad. This morning, I woke and made coffee with some milk. Not having sugar in my coffee is just not my cup of coffee. Therefore, other than just mix milk with coffee I went looking for sugar in the kitchen. Opened a container that was supposed to be filled with sugar, but the container was empty. My quest for sugar continues. Finally, a mug with the word ‘azucar’ (sugar) is sitting beside the stove. Fill up two spoons of sugar and assumed that my coffee would be sweet as me. After finishing my toast, I took a sip of my coffee and the taste I could associate to the coffee I just drank was seawater. It was salty. I was shocked and surprise at the same time. I thought salt was ‘sal’. I googled it and I was right. I hope she realizes that things got to be in the right mug with the right words in order for me to learn Spanish correctly. But she is a really nice lady.
